Dorcas Krubu International Foundation

Dorcas Krubu International Foundation was inspired by an Intervention Project the founder, Dorcas Ejemeh Krubu, PhD (nee Igberaese) participated in from 2000-2002 in Ogun State, Nigeria. The intervention project, sponsored by the United Nations Development Funds for Women was tagged Violence Against Women. It was anchored in Oyo, Osun and Ogun States of Nigeria. Dorcas Krubu was the Programme Officer in the entire Ogun State, Nigeria. With the field work and hands-on experience with women exposed to various forms of violence and the intervention that changed the direction of their lives, she decided to continue in that light even after the Project.

Thus, in the last two decades she has been working closely with girls and women at various points of their needs and has brought smiles to individuals, families and children in orphanages (in Lagos and Ekpoma, Nigeria) at critical moments. In order to be able to reach a larger audience, Dorcas Krubu International Foundation was registered as a corporate body under Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2019, with Registration No. CAC/IT/NO/138671.
